Fisher covered the Canadiens for 57 years, writing about 17 Stanley Cup championship teams and 15 players who ended up in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association covering the game in Las Vegas have been asked to wear something red in honour of Red Fisher, the legendary hockey writer with the Montreal Star and Gazette who died in January at age 91.
